Introduction

TrainMyTeam helps sales teams implement MEDDIC and Natural Selling. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect when you use our website or services, why we collect it, and how we protect it. It also covers MEDDIC-GPT, including the MEDDIC-GPT web app and the MEDDIC-GPT Chrome Extension.

Data we collect

Website. We collect information you provide directly when you fill out a contact form, book a call, or send us an email. This typically includes your name, professional email, company, and any details you share with us. We also collect basic analytics about how visitors interact with our website (pages viewed, traffic source, device type).

MEDDIC-GPT. When you use the MEDDIC-GPT web app or Chrome Extension, we collect the account information needed to sign you in, and the content you submit for analysis. When you invoke the extension on a page, this can include page context such as visible webpage text and sales-related business information (see the section below).

MEDDIC-GPT and Chrome Extension

MEDDIC-GPT is an AI sales assistant that helps users analyze B2B sales opportunities using the MEDDPICCC framework. It is available as a web app and as a Chrome Extension.

The Chrome Extension can analyze information from the webpage you are actively viewing when you invoke MEDDIC-GPT. This may include visible webpage text and sales-related business information such as account information, contact names, professional information, CRM opportunity information, notes, emails or messages visible on the page, and other content you choose to analyze.

Page context is accessed only to provide the MEDDIC-GPT functionality you request. The extension does not continuously monitor browsing activity, does not collect your general browsing history, does not sell user data, and data processed by the extension is not used for advertising. Data is not transferred for purposes unrelated to providing MEDDIC-GPT functionality.

Authentication and session information is stored locally as necessary to keep you signed in to the extension. User preferences and extension settings may also be stored locally.

MEDDIC-GPT sends the information required for an analysis to TrainMyTeam's backend infrastructure and to AI service providers, strictly for the purpose of generating the requested analysis. We currently use OpenAI as an AI service provider for this purpose.

MEDDIC-GPT provides conversation and history functionality. Conversations, analyses, and the associated content you submit may therefore be stored in order to provide conversation history and continuity of the service.

You should only submit information you are authorized to process and analyze.

How we use your data

We use your data to reply to your inquiries, deliver the services you requested, and improve our website and offering. We may send you occasional updates related to your request. You can opt out at any time.

Content submitted to MEDDIC-GPT is used to generate the analysis you request, to provide conversation history, and to operate and support the service.

Data sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We only share data with service providers strictly necessary to operate our site and services (hosting, backend infrastructure, analytics, scheduling tools, and AI service providers such as OpenAI for MEDDIC-GPT analyses), and only to the extent they need it to deliver the functionality you requested.

Cookies

Our website uses basic cookies to ensure the site works correctly and to measure audience. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.

Data security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse, across our website, the MEDDIC-GPT web app, and the Chrome Extension.

Your rights

This applies to your MEDDIC-GPT account information as well as to the conversations and analyses stored in the service.
